Getting started
How do I pair with my partner?
Open the Matches tab and choose Find Your Partner. One of you shares the invite code shown there; the other types it into Enter Partner’s Code on their own device. Once it’s accepted you’re a couple, and you’ll start seeing the names you both like as Matches. You can pair across platforms — one of you on iPhone and the other on Android works fine.
Can I try it before signing in?
Yes. On the first launch of the app on a new device, tap Start swiping to browse and swipe names straight away with no account. You’ll need to sign in to pair with a partner and to keep your picks safely across devices.
How do I sign in?
You can sign in with Apple (on iPhone), with Google, or with your email address — we send you a six-digit one-time code, so there’s no password to remember. If you use the same email address across methods, you’ll land on the same account, and your picks, couple and Premium follow you.
Why can’t I see my partner’s likes?
That’s deliberate. Your partner never sees which names you liked on your own — only names you both liked appear, as Matches, so the conversation starts from agreement rather than from a veto. You do each see a summary of the other’s activity (how many names they’ve reviewed and when they were last active), but never the individual names.
Your account & data
How do I delete my account?
Open the Profile tab in the app and scroll to Delete account. You can also request deletion at privacy.settledevelopment.com/delete-account.html, or by emailing us.
What data do you collect?
Only what’s needed to run the app, plus analytics and advertising as described in our Privacy Policy.
How do I change my ad settings?
In the EEA, UK and Switzerland you can revisit the advertising choices you made when you first opened the app: go to Profile → About → Manage ad consent. Elsewhere this option isn’t shown, because that consent prompt isn’t required in your region.
Something not working?
If names aren’t loading, a purchase hasn’t appeared, or the app is behaving oddly, email [email protected] and tell us:
- the device and OS version you’re using,
- the email address on your account, and
- what you did and what happened instead.
That’s usually enough for us to find it straight away.
