Baby Tracker by Settle

Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Settle when you use the app.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Baby Tracker by Settle app (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

The Service is provided by Dave App Development Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as “Settle” (“Settle”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at [email protected].

2. The Service

Baby Tracker by Settle is a baby-tracking app for parents and carers. You use it to log and review your baby’s feeding, sleep, nappies, growth and related care, and to share that record with the other caregivers in your household.

3. Not medical advice

The app describes your baby’s own logged data and compares it against published, age-based guidance. It does not diagnose, predict, or give medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, midwife, health visitor or other medical professional. If you are worried about your baby’s health, contact a medical professional, or the emergency services in an emergency.

If you send an AI brief to an AI app you choose, its replies come from that app, not from us and not from a medical professional, and the company behind it handles the brief under its own terms.

4. Eligibility, your account & your household

5. Subscriptions

Some features need a subscription. Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google, not by us, and renew until you cancel them in your app store account; the price, any free trial and refunds are handled by the store on its terms. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription. Exporting your data is free and stays available if you stop subscribing.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including not attempting to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to it, not using it to record information about a child you are not caring for, and not uploading content that is unlawful or that you have no right to share.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its content and branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. What you record, including your photos and videos, stays yours; you let us store and process it only to provide the Service to you and your household. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose.

8. Privacy

Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete your account at any time, as our account deletion page explains.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own export of anything you cannot afford to lose.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions about your baby’s care made on the basis of the Service, and our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months before the claim, or £100 if that is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

11. Changes

We may update the Service or these Terms. If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
