Settle Holidays

Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Settle when you use the app.

Last updated 29 October 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Settle Holidays app (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

The Service is provided by Dave App Development Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as “Settle” (“Settle”, “we”, “us”). You can reach us at [email protected].

2. The Service

Settle Holidays helps you and a partner choose a hotel together: you each swipe through hotels for a trip, see the ones you both liked, and decide between them. The Service is free to use.

3. Bookings are with the travel provider

We are not a travel agent and we do not sell, book or take payment for hotels. When you choose to book, we send you to a travel provider’s own website or app, and any booking you make is a contract between you and that provider, on their terms and at the price they show you. Questions about a booking, its payment, changes, cancellations and refunds go to the provider.

Hotel details, photos, prices, availability and review scores in the app come from our hotel data provider and may be out of date. A price shown in the app is a guide, not an offer: the price and availability that count are the ones the travel provider shows you when you book.

We may be paid a commission by the travel provider when you book through a link in the app. This does not change the price you pay.

4. Eligibility & your account

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service — including not attempting to break, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to it, and not using a display name that is unlawful, offensive or impersonates someone else.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its content and branding are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. Hotel content belongs to our hotel data provider or the hotels. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose.

7. Privacy

Our handling of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You can request deletion of your account at any time via our account deletion page.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Choosing and booking a holiday is your decision. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that hotel information in it is complete or accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for anything to do with a booking you make with a travel provider, and our total liability arising from the Service is limited to £100. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

10. Changes

We may update the Service or these Terms. If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
